Business Systems Analyst
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Description: Contract
Salary: $35.00 – $40 per hour
Job Description:
- Expand or modify the system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Test, maintain and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
- Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements.
- Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
- Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter the system.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of complex outbound interface design, data mapping, and report design experience required.
- SQL Server database and application design experience preferred
- Good communication skills.

Software Developer

Salary: $40.00 – $45 per hour
Job Description
- Evaluate, assess and recommend software and hardware solutions.
- Develop software, architecture, specifications and technical interfaces.
- Develop user interfaces and client displays.
- Design, initiate and handle technical designs and complex application features.
- Develop, deliver and test software prototypes.
- Assist software personnel in handling ongoing tasks as required
- Build flexible data models and seamless integration points
- Innovate and develop high-value technology solutions to streamline processes
- Initiate and drive major changes in programs, procedures, and methodology
- Coordinate with other developers and software professionals.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field required
- Two years maintenance and support of production grade software required
- One year software development in Java and testing required
- Electric utility energy management applications including development, design, and support of production grade software preferred
- Experience with SFDC administration and development including Visualforce and Apex
- Experience managing large-scale information system and application development and sustainment
- Technical understanding of software development tools, testing methodologies, application and database performance, web services technology, etc.
- Good communication skills
